Learn to use verbal skills to de-escalate a situation, comply with personal property demands, and as a last resort, use simple self-defense techniques to disable an attacker.

Join facilitator Dana Joyce for an experience in sound meditation, using sounds and vibrations from instruments such as crystal bowls, flutes, and chimes. Dress comfortably and bring a yoga mat, blanket, or pillow if you would like to lie down.

During this event, you will be able to apply for a new, renewal, or correction of your Illinois State ID.

Individuals living with dementia and their care partners are invited to socialize and connect with others in a similar situation at a memory cafe. Activities at the Memory Cafe are free.

Try new flavors and recipes, and connect with other cooking enthusiasts. The Library will provide a spice packet. Register with your email address to receive an email when the spice is available for pickup.
